TERMS AND CONDITIONS

01. The undersigned agrees to purchase membership to the above mentioned karate club (herein referred to as the club).

02. The membership is based on the entitlement to use the club and its facilities, not its actual use.

03. Membership is non-refundable

04. The member understands that a membership once paid for can only be suspended if agreed by the club. In the case of injury or other extenuating circumstances, notice must be given in writing and the situation will be looked at on a case by case basis..

05. The member understands that karate is a potentially dangerous activity and that they are responsible for their own safety and welfare whilst at the club.

06a. In the case of monthly direct debit, the member understands there is a minimum term of 3 months. The member also understands that after the minimum term has been completed, the monthly installments will automatically continue, giving the member the right to use the club and its services.

06b. The member agrees that if they wish to stop the monthly installments after the minimum term has been completed, they must give 30 days written notification to the club.

06c. If the member wishes to cancel the agreement before the expiration of the agreed minimum term, then the member must give 30 days written notification and pay a $100.00 cancellation fee.

06d. The member understands fees will increase by 5% on 1 January every year.
